Job Title: Support Services Assistant

Project Overview:
Provide support services to the mailroom and maintenance departments of the company headquarters.
Job Functions & Responsibilities:
Mailroom Support:
- Provide support to the Mailroom Supervisor.
- Receive, sort, and distribute internal and external mail.
- Manage outbound mail and package requests.
- Operate various pieces of mailroom equipment or machines.
- Provide backup and cross-functional work for members of the mailroom team.
- Provide messenger services by making hand deliveries and pick-ups for executives or external parties, including trips to the Post Office, for bank deposits, and bill deliveries.
Building Maintenance Support:
- Provide support to the Building Maintenance Supervisor.
- Assist with management of stored materials, including furniture.
- Support internal relocation of staff members.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of event furniture and equipment.
- Support emergent work.
Skills:
- Ability to take direction and collaborate with team members.
- Ability to deliver high-level customer service within required timelines.
- Good communication skills.
- General knowledge of mailroom operations and equipment/machines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and ability to learn new software.
Education & Certifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Two years of experience in Support Services (mailroom or maintenance).
- Customer service experience.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
